We're a small, friendly company with decades of experience producing journalism-led podcasts and videos. The core production team is below. We work with a broad network of creative associates who bring special expertise when required. These include animators, journalists, camera people, transcribers, actors, composers, autocue operators and voice artists.

Rachel Salaman, Creative Director
"I founded Media for the Web in 2006, as one of the first professional podcast production companies in the UK. Back then, it was called Audio for the Web, reflecting my background as a radio journalist. We rebranded in 2012 and now work equally in audio and video. My role is to understand the nature of the brief and manage the project from concept to delivery. I write scripts and conduct interviews with audio and video participants, direct shoots and recordings, edit the material and oversee the production and delivery of the final products. I was a producer and presenter at LBC Radio in London, and have worked for Time Magazine, Dow Jones Newswires and the Associated Press. There's more about my experience at www.rachelsalaman.com." |
Brian Jones, Videographer and Chief Technologist
"I joined the team in 2010, bringing 15 years of visual media experience to our projects. I previously worked as a portrait, wedding and documentary photographer. My role is to plan and shoot our videos and manage the edit suite. I look after and operate all the equipment, consisting of professional cameras and recorders, a wide range of lights and microphones. I share editing responsibilities and I also archive footage and manage our vast video library. What I like most about my work at Media for the Web is getting to know so many interesting clients in disparate fields. I learn so much with each project." |
